If you're new here, Luca is Italian. In 2024, we had a small wedding ceremony in Philadelphia, the city where we met which is also close to Chyanne's hometown in New Jersey. We're now looking forward to celebrating our marriage with you in Bronte, Sicily, close to Luca's hometown, Catania.
a few fun photos of the philly ceremonyThe venue is in Bronte, a mountain town on the western slope of Mt. Etna. Bronte has a rich history dating back to Norman times, and Luca wants you to know that there was a Duke of Bronte into the 80s. The area is also known for pistachio production and for excellent emerging wineries.
Logistics! Bronte is about 50 kilometers, 31.5 miles, from the Catania airport (CTA). Catania is known for its vibrant baroque architecture, rich history as a port city, and fresh seafood at every turn — it’s a bit chaotic, but that’s what makes it so full of life and character.
The venue itself, La Fucina di Vulcano, is boutique hotel with what we think is the best view of Mt. Etna.
The venue is in Bronte, Sicily. Whether you're driving in from Catania, or flying across the world, we've outlined our suggestions on our Plan Your Trip page.
Plan your tripTo get from Catania to Bronte, a car is necessary. If you stay overnight in Bronte, you can drive to the venue, or we will arrange a shuttle from one of the larger hotels to the venue. (More about accommodation options on the Plan Your Trip page.)
Plan Your TripThe dress code will be summer formal. Long dresses for women and suits for men. The party will be held outdoors on an area that is partially grass. We encourage you to embrace color!
A note about weather: Sicily can be hot in the summer, but at an elevation of 760 meters, or 2,490 feet, Bronte enjoys slightly cooler temperatures than nearby Catania with minima of about 18-20 degrees Celsius (64-68 Fahrenheit) at night in August.

Your group may include yourself, named partners or family members, or a plus one. If it includes a plus one, you will be asked to provide your guest's details. We tried to be intentional in determining groups, but if you're traveling far and a guest would enhance your experience, please call Chyanne or Luca.
RSVPYes! If you're so inclined, brings kids along. Child-specific meals will be provided. The RSVP form includes a space to let us know you're bringing kids.
